Rancho Laguna Park is set in the midst of rolling hills at the outskirts of town and has tot lots, swings, picnic areas, an amphitheater and large lawn all set among the trees. There is a group picnic area which accommodates 200 persons available for rent. Parking is limited. For availability please check the online reservation system.

Parks open one hour before sunrise and close one hour after sunset.

Rancho Laguna Park is authorized as an off leash dog run area:

  • April 1 to September 30: Park opening to 9AM; and 6PM to park closing
  • October 1 to March 31 park opening to 9AM; and 4PM to park closing

Monarch Habitat and Demonstration Garden

Rancho Laguna Park is home to a 2,600 square foot Monarch and Pollinator Habitat and Demonstration Garden made possible by the Moraga Garden Club. The Garden includes over 600 plants including 95 different native and drought tolerant varieties to increase the habitat for pollinators creating environmental, educational, and artistic benefits at Rancho Laguna Park. The Garden showcases extent plant identification and interpretive signage and blooms early Spring through Fall.
