Commons Park ADA Restroom Project

Commons Park ADA Restroom Rendering

This project consists of removing the existing restroom structure at Moraga Commons Park and installing four Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) all-gender restrooms with two drinking fountains. The project includes the demolition of the existing restroom, replacing the existing concrete pad, and utility hookups.

The Moraga Community Foundation launched a fundraising campaign to raise funds to complete the restroom replacement project. To learn more about this organization and their campaign, please visit their website

restroom final

As of the end of June 2023, Town staff is actively working with PG&E on determining a new/updated meter location, and moving forward with the Town's application for service. This involves shutting down service prior to the current building demo, and then turning new service back on. PG&E estimates this queue to be 3-4 months. Staff is also working to finalize a contractor to complete this demo and construct a new foundation. We estimate the new building to be installed prior to the end of 2023.
