Campolindo Neighborhood Gas Main Replacement

Project Background

This job is designed to improve gas flow, reduce leaks, and ensure a reliable gas supply for the area, supporting community growth and infrastructure reliability. The project involves installing a new gas distribution main and service along Calle La Montana, Calle La Mesa, Paseo Del Rio and its surrounding areas.

Project Description

PG&E will be installing new gas mains along Calle La Montana, Corte Aires, Corte De Oro, Corte Del Caballo, Calle La Mesa, Corte Pinion, Via Granada, Corte Del Sol, Quintas Lane, Paseo Del Rio, and Corte Royal. These improvements will enhance gas supply reliability for the community.

This project includes excavating into the road and sidewalks to install the new gas mainlines and transfer service laterals to the new main, repaving sections of the roadway impacted by excavation, and slurry sealing the entire roadway of the project area.

You can expect to see the following work activities over the course of this project:

• Potholing to identify the depths of other utility lines that cross the path of the new gas main.
• Installing gas mains and gas laterals via open trenching or boring (the method is determined by field conditions).
• Restoring sidewalks, driveway, and/or landscaping restoration as necessary upon completion of the gas lateral installation.
• Repaving the areas excavated within the roadway.
• Micro surfacing the entire roadway (from gutter to gutter) for the project area.
