PG&E Copper Gas Line Replacement Project - July 24, 2023
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will be replacing equipment on their natural gas system and upgrading gas meters in Moraga communities near Country Club Drive, Sandringham Drive, and Glen Alpine Street. Work will help enhance n
atural gas safety and reliability for the neighborhood. Work is expected to start on July 24th and continue through January 31st. Weather and other factors that affect safe working conditions may change their schedule. You may hear loud, steady noises and notice the smell of gas. This is normal while crews are working. You may see PG&E/contractor crews, vehicles, equipment, and temporary markings on the ground to identify the location of underground utilities in the area. Work should not interrupt gas services in the neighborhood. Driveway access may be affected for short periods of time, but access can be provided upon request.
