Hacienda Hoppy Hour

Join us for the first Hacienda Hoppy Hour on Sunday March 26th!  Purchase tickets online to attend the event and enjoy beers from local breweries.

Ticket includes a souvenir event glass for unlimited pours from local breweries!

Childcare will be available onsite for $15 per child for ages 4 to 12 hosted by the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee. Please register your child in advance, and pickup no later than 2:00pm. Parents must remain onsite.

Moraga Parks & Recreation is excited to present a brand new event for the community, Bunnies & Brews. This event is designed to be a small, intimate brewfest, that is family-friendly.; Please see the answers to the most commons questions we have received thus far. Additional questions? Q: Who needs a ticket to the event? 

A: Anyone who’d like to drink beer or cider at the event must have a ticket. 

 

Q: Do I have to buy a ticket ahead of time?

A: There are limited tickets available for this event, so we encourage you to pre-purchase your ticket for $29.00. Day-of tickets will be available for $35, while supply lasts.

 

Q: What do I get with my ticket purchase?

A: You will receive an event pint glass that allows unlimited pours from our hand selected breweries. Please drink responsibly.

 

Q: What if I am not drinking at the event? I am the designated driver.

A: Come enjoy the environment! There is no fee for those not drinking. 

 

Q: Can I purchase a single drink at the event, or do I need to buy a ticket? 

A: Everyone drinking at the event must purchase an event ticket. Single drinks will not be available. 

 

Q: Will there be food at the event? 

A: Food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase. 

 

Q: Do I have to sign up for the child care?

A: Child care is available onsite for 4-12 year olds. Children will have opportunities for supervised play, arts & crafts, and organized activities. Childcare is provided by the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee (MYIC) with registration fees benefitting MYIC activities.. While not mandatory, onsite childcare is a great option for adults who’d like to enjoy the event kid-free. 

 

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?

A: Outside alcohol is NOT permitted at this event. 

 

Q: Will there be non-alcoholic options?

A: Food trucks will sell sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages. 

 

Q: What if it rains?

A: The event will be held rain or shine. The breweries will be serving under a tented area on the patio around the fountain of the Hacienda! Current forecast shows no rain, but it will be cloudy. Bring a sweater =)

 

Q: Can I purchase alcohol to go?

A: You will not be able to buy alcohol to go, however if you enjoy the beverages from the breweries, we encourage you to visit them or find them online for further purchasing options!

 

Q: What breweries will be on site?

A: Canyon Club Brewery – Moraga, Headlands Brewing Co. – Lafayette, Side Gate Brewing – Concord, Mt. Diablo Cider Company – Lafayette.

 

Q: Will there be bunnies?

A: Expect to spot bunnies on the Hacienda grounds – real and fake!  Bunnies will be available for adoption onsite from Lamorinda 4H.
