Notice of Saturday work for the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail south of Westchester Street to Canyon Drive trail repair and improvement project from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. on August 24, 2024.
The trail restoration project is lead by East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD), Lafayette - Moraga Regional Trail is going through a restoration between Winchester Drive and Canyon Road Bridge. EBRPD will handle notifications via mail, signage and door hangers. Below is some basic project information:
- Tentative Start date: August 5th, 2024
- Tentative Completion Date: September 30th, 2024
- Project Summary: The project consists of reconstructing a new 450 ft by 12 ft wide section of concrete paving on the Lafayette - Moraga Trail that will reconnect Westchester Drive to Canyon Road and will also include the installation of new chain link fencing
