Road Closure Alert for Residential Road Construction
On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the first phase of pavement resurfacing will take place.
This first phase includes what is called an Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal consisting of a hot spray application of a rubberized asphalt binder followed by a layer of aggregate. The application provides a flexible, waterproof wearing surface that seals the existing pavement and is height resistant to cracking. Note that not all streets in the project will be receiving the chip seal.
